The Bridal Shower

Tablescape Center Piece

July made our beautiful flower bouquets and brought the cutest tea sets to display for our centerpieces! I made these adorable signs (complete with instagram hashtag reminders, of course) as well as super funny Marriage Advice Libbs for guests to fill out for the bride!

Earlier this year, my best friend, April, asked me to be her Matron of Honor and what an honor it was to accept! Well, time sure does fly by because her wedding is now right around the corner! A couple weeks ago, I co-hosted a bridal shower for her alongside 2 fellow Bridesmaids, July & Thyta. We had originally planned to have it at the beautiful Jrdn restaurant in San Diego but unfortunately, due to the size of our party, we had a change of plans to relocate the event. We ended up having the bridal shower at Thyta’s house for a small intimate gathering. We busted out our DIY skills, all pitching in to assist with sweets, good eats, beverages, games & the decor + help from the fabulous Bella Chic Creations who made us the cutest batch of pom poms! Studio Mucci also sent us an amazing tassel garland but USPS mis-delivered it so I didn’t receive it until a day too late – what a bummer. C’est la vie! We also played a few games including Take a Ring and Pin the Kiss which were hilarious! Despite a few hiccups here and there, we all had such a fun time! At the end, everyone got to take home a party favor provided by NYC Cosmetics!

CHEERS DIY Banner Garland

I made this cute DIY “Cheers” Banner Garland that we tied up above our bar area using cardstock, printed clothespins (like these but bigger) and satin ribbon!

Bridal Shower

We displayed the food, utensils, sweets and mimosa & sangria bar in an L-shape to make it easier to navigate around. Don’t worry, we had infused water, too!

Mimosa & Sangria Bar

I chopped up tons of different fruits for the infused water and our Mimosa & Sangria bar. How adorable is the sign I made for it? I also bought these pretty straws that went perfectly with our theme and colors!

Porto's Cheese Rolls

Since I was driving down to San Diego from LA, I had to stop by and bring some delicious Cheese Rolls from Porto’s.

Pin the Kiss on Adam Levine

Pin the Kiss… on Adam Levine! That’s April top left, I’m at the top right, my mom on the bottom left (how cute is she with her kissy face?!) and April’s mom on the bottom right. This game was such a big hit! After a guest would pin their kiss, they signed it making a super sweet keepsake for the bride afterwards! Plus, she loves Adam… I know, I know… who doesn’t!?

Sherbet Love Tassel Garland

This is the gorgeous Tassel Garland that Studio Mucci sent! So sad we didn’t get to use it for the shower – how perfect would it have been?!

Bride to Be

July made this Bride to Be sign using a pretty frame from Ikea – LOVE!

Take A Ring Game

Take a Ring! Everyone got to pick a cute ring when they arrived but you couldn’t say the word “Wedding”. If you caught anyone saying it, you take their ring(s) away and whoever had the most rings at the end won!

Macarons Sweets Bar

How pretty were our sweets! Everyone adored the macarons that July made!

Party Favors NYX Cosmetics

We also had these pretty party favors sponsored by NYC Cosmetics! Each bag had a lipstick & blush inside. So cute!
