Ever since I first learned how to create it, beachy wavy hair has been my most complimented hair style (many thanks btw!). So, when I discovered Bangstyle, I was in love. I’ve been using their Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner and I adore how soft and fluffy it makes my hair! Even better? Their Light Sea Salt Mist – it makes my curling iron/rod wavy hair look naturally beachy without looking like I obviously sprayed a ton of surf spray in it! As they describe it, “Imagine 10,000 mermaids blowing the ocean breeze from a cool banana leaf. This is sort of like that but without the leaf or the imaginary mermaids.” lol

So apparently, I’m really into leather right now – but who isn’t, right? There’s just something so sexy, edgy, and aesthetically appealing about mixing leather with various textiles, even if it’s just something as simple as a tee. ShopPublik.com really has the trend on lock down – so may perfect pieces with leather accents that my wallet is shivering in fear that it will soon be empty lol. That jacket up there really has my heart racing, though! I have a weakness for contrasting jackets as I’ve worn here, here, here, here and here – and I’ll always be dreaming of that elusive Zara camo jacket with the faux leather sleeves, ugh (I know TopShop and other retailers have similar variations but the Zara one was so perfect 🙁 darn it.) Anyway, this jacket with the yummy tweed like ivory, black, and metallic-gold boucle sleeves… it’s just SO DELICIOUS!! Okay, honestly, I’m so in love with it that that I almost didn’t want to post it here for fear that it will sell out before I can get my hands on one *sigh*.

This gorgeous teddy Eberjey sent me was too pretty to only wear at home 😉 so to make it a little more day/outside appropriate, I paired it with this awesome jacket I snagged on sale at ShopWasteland. If it looks familiar, that’s because Sheryl has it, too (seen here) when I tried on hers during our NYFW trip, I had to get one for myself. I love that it adds a little structure and contrast to the look while still calming down the sexiness of the teddy. Stiletto boots would have been too provocative but I didn’t want my legs to be completely bare so I wore my slouchy Sole Society Rumor boots with the thicker stacked heel instead for a more casual and super comfy feel.

While we were at MAGIC back in August, Happiness is a $10 Tee gifted our group a bunch of t-shirts and canvas bags. We got to choose which ones we wanted but since I was one of the last to choose, the pile was pretty picked through. I searched through the available shirts to find something I’d really wear (I always try not to take things I don’t see myself wearing) and I found this tee among them but it was a size large. I liked the fun animal print skull and cross bones so I figured I could do a quick DIY to make the oversized tee more wearable. I used a loose Brandy Melville muscle tee as a template and chopped the sides off this one and love how it turned out! Perfect to pair with cute printed bandeaus and bralettes. Now I’m going to have my eye on more tee’s like this to chop up 😉 first stop, hubby’s closet – just kidding! lol
