Happy Monday, everyone! Sharing a fun outfit I wore last weekend in Vegas for my birthday Of course, I had to wear my new pink Chanel clutch (it was my birthday gift to myself!) which happened to match perfectly with these adorable ShoeDazzle bow pumps. They both brought out the neon pink tones in this fun Ella Moss Dress – match made in hothaute pink heaven! Plus the neons are obviously Vegas appropriate! I wore this look out to dinner (Vegas foodie post coming soon!) and to watch Le Reve which was absolutely spectacular! Definitely my favorite Vegas show now and it’s no wonder they’ve won that award year after year!
Nearing my thirties was daunting… and officially entering it? Nauseating. I’m not going to lie guys, I totally had an emotional break down our first day in Vegas this past weekend. Terrible twos? Try a temper tantrum at the end of your twenties! Now don’t get me wrong, I know I have a lot going for me. I’ve been blessed with great genes, always looking super young and really as they say, thirties are the new twenties. Career-wise, I’m just barely breaking into my prime years and I’m excited for what this new decade has in store. With all that said, it still doesn’t make it any easier when you physically feel like you’re aging. Achey knees, sore muscles, and skin that just isn’t bouncing back the same – what’s happening to me? Yes, I try to work out regularly, love a hot yoga session and enjoy the occasional barre class but one thing is for sure, I’ve never been the super fit, athletic type… more the work out enough to feel slightly sore the next day so I can indulge in my favorite foods type.
Mark my words ya’ll, that is about to change! I’ve made a promise to myself that I’m going to be the most fit in my thirties than I’ve ever been! You see it in fitness ads and infomercials and well, so many of my own friends have done the same, why can’t I? It also doesn’t hurt that this Carbon38 outfit makes me feel like a million bucks That’s the key, isn’t it? Who doesn’t love wearing a new outfit out, especially when you look fab in it? When it comes to fitness motivation, I’ll be the first to admit that fashion reigns king for me. A chic new sports bra and killer kicks? You can bet your glutes, I’ll be at the gym just as an excuse to wear them (and work out, obvs)!

I couldn’t go my entire birthday without a blog post so I wanted to share one of my favorite recent outfits! I wore this look the other weekend with Chris. I love how easy & elegant this look was while still being more casual, light and fun! Hope you’re all having a great week!
