This beautiful bag was the amazing wedding anniversary gift my husband gave me last week. Ever since I opened the box, I haven’t let it go – immediately transferring all my necessities into it, I’ve carried it every. single. day. since. I should forewarn you guys; I have two outfit posts coming up where I’m carrying this bag and I anticipate many more thereafter. Hope you don’t get sick of seeing it because I sure won’t!

So, I may or may not have dropped a few hints to my mister I gave him a couple ideas but this was the one I wanted the most and he’s such a great mind reader like that lol. I just couldn’t help but fall in love with the shape, especially the leather wrapped metal bar connected to the handle. The shape is just like the one I saw on BCBGMaxazria’s runway during their NYFW SS’13 show:

New York Fashion Week SS13 – Outfit of the Day #3

Our last day at NYFW, I decided to wear this gorgeous Blaque Label skirt with this new TopShop Peplum Top I bought while shopping in Soho with Sheryl earlier in the week. I had to wear the spiked belt (previously worn here) to add a little bit of edge to an otherwise girly, and super frilly, look . My pumps might look familiar if you followed me on Instagram from a while back. I fell in love with them when my Mom was showing me her latest shopping finds but couldn’t find them anywhere! Well, luckily for me, and thankfully for a super nice Macy‘s sales associate, they found a random single pair left in my size – it took all of a nanosecond for me to whip out my debit card and order them.

I always feel handicapped when it comes to outfit photos whenever my husband isn’t able to go with me places – it was so nice to have a great friend with me to take some even better when the friend is also an awesome blogger! So, special thanks to my girl Sheryl from WalkInWonderland.com for taking all my NYFW outfit pictures!

New York Fashion Week SS13 – Herve Leger Backstage & Runway Show

Herve Leger – hands down, my absolute favorite show & overall experience from NYFW! It has a special place in my heart because my Mom is a HUGE Herve Leger fan (in hindsight, I totally should have borrowed one of her signature bandage dresses or Herve Leger shoes! I’ll have to keep that in mind for next season ) So, having backstage access in addition to epic seats was just so amazing! Plus being in the midst of all the hussle and bussle going on minutes before the show was such a thrill.
