Spring is here and Summer is right around the corner so naturally, shoes have been on my mind. Okay, who am I kidding? Shoes are always on my mind! I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair of (almost) every day sandals to wear this summer. Actually, to wear right now and through Summer 🙂 Something cute and comfortable but still awesomely tall and will go with virtually everything. A neutral color is obvious, but which neutral? I’m definitely leaning more towards a tan/nude wedge since summer just automatically means lots of walking around in my mind – the mall, beach, amusement parks and of course just around our neighborhood to soak up the sun (and get a desperately needed tan).

I’m in love with the patent leather nude BCBGeneration Lee flatforms (pictured under the word “list” in the collage above). Flatforms are so funky to me but the neutral color is perfect for that unexpected twist to any Spring/Summer look. I can see myself wearing them under a flowy maxi skirt, with some simple shorts and a tee, or with a light linen dress. I love that they are cute enough for an overdressed Sunday brunch but suitable for a simple park picnic. They certainly look comfortable enough for a full day of shopping. Hmm… I think I might have just sold myself on which pair lol!
