The weather’s been so unpredictable in socal lately; chilly one day making us wonder where Spring is, then 80 degrees the next day making me certain it’s already summer.  I bought this sweater a while back on one of my first Ebay ventures and finally got an opportunity to wear it recently, on a cooler LA day. I’ve always avoided eBay, mostly because of my disdain for blatant knockoffs and “Ebay” just automatically equalled cringe worthy knockoffs to me. Recently though, I’ve opened up to the fact that there’s some really cool other stuff on there unrelated to designer names. This sweater was just a random “chunky sweater” search result that ended up being pretty awesome. I’ve also found some killer deals on American Apparel gear (though, the bids go up pretty high the last 3 second of almost every listing). On the other hand, I’ve also been burned – I bid on what seemed like a super cute off the shoulder sweater only to deem it un-wearable after multiple attempts. Something about the distance from the shoulders to the sleeves to the hem just didn’t make sense (i.e. the thing goes from cute oversized off the shoulder sweater, to a scarf every time I move my arms above my waistline – lame). Anyway, I digress, this sweater worn here was an awesome eBay steal.

This necklace, by the way, dates back to my very first blog post 🙂 and was in heavy rotation for a quite a while during the “early days”. Though, the “early days” being barely over a year ago lol. I love it; it reminds me of our honeymoon every time I bring it out to play.

I’ve received a lot of emails asking about my makeup routine, including a couple formspring requests for a tutorial (I’ll work on that soon!) so in the meantime, I’ll try to list my makeup for my outfit posts if I remember what I used! I’ll also list where to buy it in my “shop” list at the bottom of each post. I must warn you though, I’m a creature of habit and this list is probably not going to change much in each post lol aside from maybe alternating between the original Naked palette & the Naked2, and also which lash # I wore, if any. I wish I could list which colors in the eyeshadow palette I used but I swear every time I put on my makeup, I probably dip my shadow brush in every color somehow lol.
