In case you missed it, I share this “get ready with me” reel recently on Instagram showing how I do my makeup now, at 39! 💖
Also, I wanted to thank you all for the kind messages and well wishes after my last post about Chris’ health. I made sure to share them all with him, too. Like the Superman that he is, he was already up doing his household chores and even cooking that same weekend, right after his major abdominal surgery. Can you believe that? Against my wishes, of course! He claims he felt well enough to, and says the recovery pain is minimal compared to the hernia pain he dealt with beforehand, which I found surprising but definitely a great thing. I’ve never been through surgery before to know what the recovery to something like that is like, but this seems so impressively fast to me for something so invasive! Now that we’re over a week out, he’s been up and about, driving and moving around almost like nothing happened, almost. His resilience and ability to keep progressing forward despite the things life throws at him will always amaze me.
