Mani/Pedi Nail Favorites

I started doing my own nails a few months into the pandemic and I’ve received so many comments and questions about them over the past year, that I thought I’d finally share a post about my favorite products!

Kiara Sky has quickly become one of my main go-to nail brands. After immersing myself in their youtube tutorials and instagram reels learning how to use different nail tools, I ordered myself an inexpensive UV lamp on Amazon to venture into the world of gel nails and tip extensions. I especially love Kiara Sky’s Gelly Tips Starter Kit, which comes with the cutest mini uv light that is perfectly shaped to help with DIY applications and nail art designs. I started out by hand filing, and after a few months I got a hang of things and upgraded to an E-file nail drill, and pro led lamp! I’ve had so much fun playing with their Gel Art Collection and Bling It On rhinestone collection. They also carry other products like dip powders which I haven’t tried yet, but their selection is amazing!

If I’m using regular nail polish and don’t want to mess with UV lights, I would usually reach for my Essie collection of products. Their formulas are so smooth and I love their fun vibrant colors. I also recently tried Revlon’s new Ultra HD Snap! full coverage nail polish, which doesn’t need a base or top coat. Perfect for when you’re in a rush. All I have to do is make sure my nails are clean and dry, apply two coats of the color and that’s it – a lazy girl’s dream! I also appreciate how quickly it sets and dries.

From what I’ve read*, they all happen to be vegan friendly now, too! (*Kiara Sky, Essie, Revlon Ultra HD Snap!)

Have you tried any of these yet? What nail products have you been loving lately?

Xox,
An Dyer
