Make Up For Ever is a brand that I fell in love with more recently. No, I have not been living under a rock 😉 I’ve always seen MUFE in Sephora but for some reason, aside from their first HD foundation formula (which didn’t work with my skin then), I never really tried more of the range. I was reintroduced to the brand at the launch of their Ultra HD Foundation last year and that’s when they really swept me off my feet! Since then, I’ve quickly acquired an addiction for their products – you can see me use some of these in many of my makeup tutorial videos like this one!
Follow along below for my favorite Make Up For Ever MUST HAVES:
MAKE UP FOR EVER Mist & Fix Setting Spray and Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primers I’ve mentioned my love for their primers in my 2015 Favorites video so I won’t bore you with the details again aside from the fact that they are amazing! I will say that I personally love the Hydrating and Smoothing versions and love to layer them together. First I’ll apply the hydrating primer all over my face, then I’ll gently tap the smoothing primer around my trouble areas where I have fine lines and larger pores. The Mist & Fix Spray is a newer one for me and I love how well it sets my makeup, leaving it look more naturally blended in.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation, Ultra HD Liquid Foundation & HD Microfinish Powder I love the medium finish the liquid version of MUFE’s Ultra HD Foundation when I’m going for a natural, dewy look but the second I tried their Ultra HD Stick Foundation, I was hooked! I’ve always avoided stick formulas in the past because they’re known for being dry and cakey but MUFE’s is incredibly creamy and blends in beautifully, for a flawless, full-coverage finish. Honestly, the only reason I don’t use it daily is because I don’t want to waste it! LOL! It’s also the only foundation where I prefer to apply it with a brush instead of a BeautyBlender – I’ve found that it goes on amazingly with a flat top kabuki or an Artis brush. I also love setting my foundation with their Microfinish Powder because the formula goes perfectly with their foundations (obvs!)

MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Palette Volume 3 – Florals Highly pigmented and buttery, these eyeshadows blend like a dream! I love the bold shades in this particular palette because they’re ideal for that gorgeous pop of color on your lower lash line or inner corner! You can also go for a colorful eye with the guides they include, making it super easy to use the colors by columns vertically for a complete look. Oh and the center shade also doubles as a blush! It’s definitely the go-to palette to add color all through Spring & Summer!

MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Concealers When MUFE launched their concealers a few months ago, the internets went wild! I don’t think I saw a single YouTube beauty channel that didn’t have a makeup tutorial using it (myself included)! I love the range of colors, including red-toned shades for color correcting and yellow-based shades for brightening and highlighting. The formula is true to the Ultra HD line, with amazing coverage and a super creamy and blend-able consistency. If you’re like me though and your under eye area likes to crease, you will want to set this with a powder or bake with it!
SHOP:
MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner When I first opened this box the awesome team at MUFE sent me, I was absolutely floored! It also includes limited edition eyeliner shades handpicked by pop star Charli XCX! How gorgeous are these colors?! The formula is incredible, waterproof and smudge proof, with beautiful color pay off. I love using them to add a pop of color to my waterline or when I want to go all out for a bold eye look! The matte black shade is especially incredible at hiding false eyelash bands when you layer it on top (if you’re a falsie wearer too)!
