Last week, we attended Plan Check Downtown‘s soft opening press event! Having dined at their West Hollywood location, I knew we were in for a treat. This location officially opened yesterday paying homage to nearby culinary pockets such as Koreatown and East L.A. with some exciting & delicious exclusive dishes by Executive Chef Ernesto Uchimura like their Baked Oysters, KBBQ Burger & Beast Fries – all definitely must tries!! This location will also have an extensive happy hour menu—available from 4-6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to close.

Baked Oyster – Fanny Bay oysters with Rockefeller butter & Katsuobushi, exclusive to their Downtown location!

K-BBQ Burger – grilled pork belly with kimcheese, sprouting onion, gochujang bbq sauce, sesame salt & fried onions… another exclusive dish to this location!

Beast Fries – schmaltz onions, bacon spread & Americanized cheese… also exclusive!

PCB (Plan Check Burger) – with americanized dashi cheese, ketchup leather, schmaltz onions, mixed pickles on a crunch bun!

Cruller Donut – a churro like donut cooked to order with cream & fruit!

We shared a table with our new friends at HungryInLA and had such a blast trying all these new, innovative dishes! Thanks so much for having us Plan Check Downtown & congratulations, again!!
