Zara Metal Tip Black Silk Shirt | H&M Pleated Chiffon Shorts | Wild Pair Lola Wedges

I purchased this blouse a month or so ago and have been really hesitant to wear it. Silk, though I love it, always makes me ultra paranoid but I bought it knowing this and relying on the fact that it’s black and hopefully won’t be as attracted to stains. Plus, I loved the simple shape and the delicate metal tips on the collar – they’re eye appealing without overpowering the entire look. My shorts were a Black Friday purchase (yep, as in pre-Christmas last year!!) and have been hanging in my closet, waiting to be worn. They’re so cute but for some reason, the occasion to wear them never presented itself until now. I had it hanging near this blouse so it just came together! I love the tiny pleats and sheer appearance; it balances the silk top perfectly.

We had dinner at one of our favorite sushi restaurants, Sushi Roku in Pasadena. I took the plunge and tried uni for the first time. Though, I’ve enjoyed all sorts of strange, exotic foods, this one was not my cup of tea. It wasn’t terrible, but I’m just not a fan and probably wouldn’t order it again 😉 Everything else was delicious as always!
