Day 2 of NYFW was spent running all around Manhattan. We visited the 1.State showroom in the morning, did a little Soho shopping followed by brunch at Jack’s wife Frida, headed back to our hotel for a quick outfit change only to run off to see the LAMB presentation in Chelsea, caught up with my friends Ashley & Stephanie for a bit before we had to catch a cab for the Nicole Miller show at Lincoln Center and then back to Soho to attended the fabulous Piperlime party! A whole’lotta cab & uber rides in one day but so much fun! It was also sprinkling which only adds to the excitement 😉
My outfit for the day was all about layering lots of details & textures. I was absolutely head over heels in love with this leather skirt the minute I spotted it. I browsed around the Nicole Miller store looking for other options (I loved this dress!) but my heart kept going back to this leather skirt. The embroidering was just too gorgeous to pass up! I paired it with this amazing sheer beaded top to add even more eye appeal to this look. I was going to carry a simple black bag but there was something about the tones in this Brahmin satchel that brought out the beading in the top even more and warmed up the ensemble.
What do you think of this pairing?

Hope you’re having a great week so far! Thanks so much for stopping by 🙂
