It has definitely been a warm week in New York and although we’re used to the heat living in Southern California, I quickly realized the difference! Not only are warm California days typically drier but it cools down substantially at night (though it may be 90° during the day, it usually drops to mid 60°’s at night) whereas New York stays warm through the evenings. Every night has been a steady mid 80°’s which was a pleasant surprise! It’s nice being out all day in a cute flowy dress and not need to bring any layers along!

Sounds like beautiful weather! It’s pretty cold and overcast on the West Coast today actually! I adore this outfit – the dress is just the perfect length and the pattern is so beautiful. I like that you kept the look styled simply!
