A couple weeks back, I attended BevMo! Riverside’s store opening. We had the exciting opportunity of meeting and learning more about wines from BevMo’s Cellar Master, Wilfred Wong (@willieboysf), who’s been in the industry for over 40+ years (that’s a lot of wine!) Can you believe, he tastes 6K-8K wines, spirits & beers every year?! If his name sounds familiar, that’s because it’s on pretty much every single wine price & rating tag in BevMo stores. We all also got to enjoy tasting 7 different wines and as it turns out, I have a pretty decent wine palate! 🙂 I was the first to spot one of the wines being corky! It was so much fun exploring different flavor profiles, pairing them with various small bites and falling in love with new wines we never tried before.
Thanks so much for having me, BevMo! Riverside & thank you for sharing a bit of your wealth of wine knowledge with us, Wilfred! I used to always prefer white wines (I’m a Sauv Blanc girl!) but now I find myself stocking up on Pinot Noir’s, who knew!?
Loved the tablescape!

Of course, I also had a blast because I was there with my blogger besties 😉 Sheryl Luke & Joo Kim!
