Chris and I had always talked about upgrading rings for an upcoming anniversary, but I figured it would be for a later milestone, until Chris suggested we upgrade this year, for our 14th wedding anniversary coming up this October! With everything that’s been going on, he said, “Life’s short, we’ve waited long enough, why wait longer if we can do it now?” 
and obviously, who am I to decline a ring upgrade?! My only request was that we try to keep my same original Tacori setting that he originally proposed with, in 2008.

Like the Superman that he is, he was already up doing his household chores and even cooking that same weekend, right after his major abdominal surgery. Can you believe that?
