I wore this look the other evening for a business dinner with my husband and I couldn’t help but notice it would be so perfect to wear as a wedding guest, too! I love how sophisticated the black and white floral print is on this dress from Ashley Graham’s latest Beyond by Ashley Graham collection. Pairing it with sparkly accessories was the perfect touch. If you are wearing something like this to a wedding, elegant shoes like mine with a thicker heel are perfect for comfort and support – especially if it’s an outdoor wedding on unstable grass! Don’t forget a chic pair of sunglasses, too! 😉

It has definitely been a warm week in New York and although we’re used to the heat living in Southern California, I quickly realized the difference! Not only are warm California days typically drier but it cools down substantially at night (though it may be 90° during the day, it usually drops to mid 60°’s at night) whereas New York stays warm through the evenings. Every night has been a steady mid 80°’s which was a pleasant surprise! It’s nice being out all day in a cute flowy dress and not need to bring any layers along!

Must-Haves: SUMMER FRAGRANCES

It’s hard to believe that when Chris and I first met, 10+ years ago, I didn’t even wear perfume! I’ve definitely grown quite the collection over the years so I thought I’d share some of my newest favorites with you guys 🙂 these fragrances are perfect for Summer!

Ralph Lauren Tender Romance is delicately sweet and sophisticated. I love that it’s airy and feminine – not too sweet, but just sweet enough. It has notes of ginger and pear, balanced with jasmine, cashmere and musk.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb La Vie En Rose is the limited-edition version of the iconic fragrance. It’s bright, citrusy and lighter with notes of grapefruit, green tea, rose and orchids balanced with pink pepper. I love the combination of rosy floral and spiciness!

CLEAN Reserve Blonde Rose is a sexy edgy twist on your traditional floral fragrance. It has a combination of rose & peonies with notes of cedarwood and sandalwood for a floral musk scent that can even be unisex!

Viktor&Rolf BONBON Perfumed Hair Mist is a fragrance formulated for your hair! How cute is this bow shaped packaging?! BONBON is lightly sweet, on the citrusy side with Mandarin and sweet orange, balanced with notes of peach, jasmine, caramel and amber.

ODIN New York Efflora Eau de Parfum is an effervescent citrus floral scent. It combines tangerine, lavender, grapefruit and geranium with notes of oakwood and white moss.
