Closet Staple: Bodysuits

Special thanks to Nakturnal for sponsoring this post!

Thong bodysuits have been trending and suffice to say, they have been taking over my closet lately! Whether they’re hidden under my garments, like these body sculpting thong bodysuits by SKIMS, or pretty layering pieces, like these by Little Black Bodysuits, or statement bodysuits, like this metallic mock turtleneck I wore here in this post… I love how they can elevate any outfit, making you look even more polished! I also appreciate how slimming they can be; they really are great on every body type. JLo’s a big fan of the bodysuit trend, too, in case you needed more convincing lol 😉

How amazing are these SKIMS Thong Bodysuits?

By far my favorite feature is that you never have to worry about your top untucking, and the thong silhouette ensures your outfit stays smooth and sleek, regardless of what you’re pairing them with. I love how bodysuits look with jeans and skirts; they can be worn under dresses, overalls, and jumpers, too for more layered looks! Not to mention, a nude bodysuit is perfect for pairing with sheer and mesh fabrics that are so popular right now; and they’re ideal worn under thin white or light color ensembles that might not have adequate lining. I’ve also found that most of them have snap closures, which is so convenient!

More Metallic Bodysuits I love here:

With my growing collection, I think it’s safe to say I’m obsessed and they are definitely a closet staple! Are you into the bodysuit look? Have you been wearing them more often, too?

You know what else I just thought of, that will be so cute with these bodysuits? Shorts and sheer minis this Summer! I also love the look of long sleeve bodysuits, layered under sleeveless dresses – that always looks extra chic and perfect for this unpredictable Spring weather.

What other ways would you wear them?
