We always loved the idea of having a library, but didn’t think we had the space for one. When we began decorating Chris’ new home office, we had a chance to play around with the layout. In our previous apartment, we had these bookshelves on opposite sides of the desk, but realized styling them side by side in our new space, gave us more of a library feel. We placed our beautiful new Diamond Trellis Rug that RugsUSA.com sent us in the center of the room, and brought in our chaise lounge along with our arc floor lamp, creating the perfect reading nook for our new apartment!

Of course, it’s also the ideal spot to relax and enjoy a glass of rosé, or lounge and watch youtube videos on my new laptop that Dell sent me last month! I’ve been putting their newest XPS 13 laptop to test with my daily workload. The 4K Ultra HD resolution is stunning, and I’ve been loving how fast and super light it is! The touch display is also such an awesome feature. I think I’ll be lounging here, editing photos and catching up on emails more often!
