Happy Lunar New Year!
I shared a funny little story about childhood tenacity on my doll account, and it was in reference to one of my favorite holiday songs, Đón Xuân by Vietnamese singer Như Quỳnh. The Lunar New Year song begins with the line “Xuân đã đến rồi” which translates to Spring is already here. Spring starts early in that part of the world, right around this time of year, which is one of the things I love so much about living in Southern California. Obviously, I’m biased being born and raised here, but the weather is just too good to beat. After a week of heavy storms, it’s already feeling like Spring, while we’re barely in the middle of February! A beautiful start to a beautiful new year!!
