PLANTA was recommended to me by The Zoe Report‘s Executive Editor, Angela Melero. Angela and I met at a lunch with Oribe back in March, and connected over vegan fine dining since she had recently written article about it. I had their MDR location bookmarked on Yelp to try sometime, but had no idea PLANTA recently opened a restaurant in Brentwood, too, which was a lot closer to us. After hearing Angela’s rave review, Chris and I had dinner the Brentwood location and OMG was it delicious! The best vegan sushi we’ve ever had, and we’ve tried A LOT since going vegan five years ago! We fell in love with their restaurants (each location has a different theme) and have been frequenting ever since.
These photos are from our first visit to PLANTA’s waterfront Marina Del Rey location, which has such a gorgeous view! The perfect location for a little birthday brunch, especially with their delicious creamy seasonal cheesecakes.
