Maybe, I’m the only one that notices or maybe I really do have a [slight] shopping problem. I’ve mentioned it before but I have this habit of buying whatever item I like in every color it comes in. On the surface, it doesn’t sound so bad, right? But I do this with everything- jeans, tops, outerwear, skirts, shoes, bags, accessories… and maybe, it gets a little repetative. Case in point, this poncho. I bought it in grey, creme and navy. Another example? My Steve Madden Raven boots; I bought them in both the taupe and black patent leather. In fact, they also came in glittery versions and I would have bought those too if they had them in my size. If I don’t buy it in every color it comes in, I’ll kick myself later for not. Those Seychelle wedges I’m wearing here? They also came in black and cranberry and I still think about them and wonder why I didn’t buy those colors too. They’re comfy and perfect for work or out to brunch but unfortunately, they’re no longer available (as far as I know). Even more frustrating is when an item I like is available in similar shades, say charcoal, black and navy. I’ll end up at the store for as long as I can debating on which color to buy and whether or not to buy them all. Sure, I’ll know they’re different but if I were to wear them three days in a row (which I’d never but just hypothetically of course) others would think I was wearing the same thing since the colors are close.
So what do you think? Is it an issue I need to address or just a personality quirk?

Lol. yea i think its a problem or maybe its because i am a frugalista or like to try new things…u know what…nope, its because im very frugal! lol.
However, there has been MANY times i regretted not buying item in multiple shades and they are usually the basic, staple pieces like camisoles, sweaters, underwear, etc.March 9, 2011 at 11:28 am
I need to be a fruglista!! lolMarch 10, 2011 at 2:29 pm
oooh possibly an issue? I’d be quite alarmed at the cost of the exercise. Its so cute that you get loads of variety with the same style pieces though.March 9, 2011 at 1:55 pm
Looking fab as always 🙂
It does get expensive… and I think about all the other different things I could buy with the same money… but then there are those moments where I’ll regret not buying the other colors LOL catch 22!March 10, 2011 at 2:30 pm

[…] What really pushed me over the edge with these Sam Edelman Lorissa’s was when my friend Joanna Gayle (aka Sugarette) posted them on her facebook seeing her post definitely reignited my interest in them and the next thing I knew, I had both the black leather and nude leather Lorissa’s ordered on Endless and on their way to my doorstep overnight. Yep, I bought them in two colors… I couldn’t help myself. […]April 6, 2011 at 12:15 pm
