Towards the beginning of our trip, I was pretty gutsy with my heels. This lasted… oh, a good two days of wearing them before I gave up, wore my hunter boots the remainder of our trip and even caved towards the end and finally jumped on the Toms bandwagon. I have nothing against Toms, by the way. I think their story and cause is great. I’m just not one to wear flats very often. They, along with my Hunter boots, really saved my feet on this trip lol.
Halfway through the day, my legs weren’t having the OTK books and I switched over to my always comfortable, Jessica Simpson Dany’s.

Is that other entryway you’re in front of from SATC? 🙂 I admire your dedication to heels lol. I wouldn’t have lasted a day. Go An! hehe

October 30, 2011 at 10:00 amAn,
You’re a champ. I don’t wear heels in NYC unless I’m taking a cab. LOL. Those Aldo OTK are fantastic honey. I’m not into the TOMS thing either (great cause and story) but in NYC it’s a given because all the walking you’re doing.
Hope you had a blast! Your ‘Dany’ platforms transitioned perfectly with your outfit.

Ooooh you look great in this outfit! Is it really that hard to walk in heels, or it’s just much easier to be wearing flats while you sightsee? I am anticipating the day I go to New York!

Hope you had a blast! And more power to you and the heels walking in NY. I probably would only last a few hours and give up to a slightly lower heels. Toms are great and I agree with you.

I’m so impressed you made it 2 days in heels! Love your JS shoes with your outfit. I’m not a big flats person myself, but when I’m in New York I wonder if it would be terrible to wear tennis shoes because even flats hurt after awhile. Then I come to my senses and wear my flat boots and spend the night with my feet elevated.
November 11, 2011 at 5:52 pmDear An,
Thank you for your visit! Love the boots and poncho.
Have a nice weekend!

I can’t believe you lasted that long with heels. When I’ve been to New York, it’s been nonstop walking, so I couldn’t even take it for half hour.
November 12, 2011 at 11:21 pmHope you had a blast in the city and great thumbs up for lasting in those heels
