New York What To Wear

New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made of…

An Dyer in H&M Poncho, Urban Outfitters Circle Scarf, JC Penny Striped Tights, Aldo OTK Boots, Louis Vuitton Damier Ribera Mm, Michael Kors Watch

H&M Grey Poncho | Urban Outfitters Circle Scarf | JC Penney Striped Tights | Aldo OTK Boots | (later) Jessica Simpson Grey Dany | Louis Vuitton Damier Ribera Mm | Michael Kors Watch

Towards the beginning of our trip, I was pretty gutsy with my heels. This lasted… oh, a good two days of wearing them before I gave up, wore my hunter boots the remainder of our trip and even caved towards the end and finally jumped on the Toms bandwagon. I have nothing against Toms, by the way. I think their story and cause is great. I’m just not one to wear flats very often. They, along with my Hunter boots, really saved my feet on this trip lol.

NYPD! We hardly see cops standing on the streets patrolling in California but in New York, there was one on every other street doing just that. This policeman was nice enough to take a picture with me 🙂

Halfway through the day, my legs weren’t having the OTK books and I switched over to my always comfortable, Jessica Simpson Dany’s.

    An,

You’re a champ. I don’t wear heels in NYC unless I’m taking a cab. LOL. Those Aldo OTK are fantastic honey. I’m not into the TOMS thing either (great cause and story) but in NYC it’s a given because all the walking you’re doing.

Hope you had a blast! Your ‘Dany’ platforms transitioned perfectly with your outfit.

Ooooh you look great in this outfit! Is it really that hard to walk in heels, or it’s just much easier to be wearing flats while you sightsee? I am anticipating the day I go to New York!

Hope you had a blast! And more power to you and the heels walking in NY. I probably would only last a few hours and give up to a slightly lower heels. Toms are great and I agree with you.

I’m so impressed you made it 2 days in heels! Love your JS shoes with your outfit. I’m not a big flats person myself, but when I’m in New York I wonder if it would be terrible to wear tennis shoes because even flats hurt after awhile. Then I come to my senses and wear my flat boots and spend the night with my feet elevated.

I can’t believe you lasted that long with heels. When I’ve been to New York, it’s been nonstop walking, so I couldn’t even take it for half hour.
