His Style: Seiko Astron GPS Solar

We received this Seiko Astron GPS Solar watch right before our NYC trip – perfect timing to play with Seiko’s new GPS technology! Seiko has been able to create a watch that receives GPS signals and identifies the time zone, time and date data using the global network of GPS satellites. This means, no more manually changing the time when you travel to different time zones like we do! Once a day when fully charged, Seiko Astron receives the time signal automatically and, on demand, connects to four or more satellites that orbit the earth, thus pinpointing its position and identifying your time zone and the exact time. The hands automatically adjust to the correct local time with Atomic Clock precision. Chris has quite the watch collection as it is but this new Seiko Astron stands out from the crowd and has been his go-to watch since we received it. Having had just recently taken them all to our local watch repair to have their batteries replaced, I was so relieved to find that the Seiko Astron is powered by all types of light! Astron is entirely self-sustaining and takes all the power it needs from any light – not just solar. There is no need, ever, to change a battery! Amazing, right?

Another set of photos from our NOLA trip! I can’t believe it was only 2 weeks ago and yet I miss it so much already. I gotta admit, I wasn’t exactly head over heels for this city while we were there but wow, has it grown on me! Now I can’t stop thinking about making another trip there again to indulge in BBQ Shrimp & fried everything!

Has a city you’ve visited ever made you feel that way? That meh whatever this is ok to OMG I miss it I can’t wait to go back!?

Superman and I extended our work trip and headed out to New Orleans early for our wedding anniversary the other week. We had such a great time exploring the beautiful city – eating delicious food, people watching, and enjoying the amazing Spanish & French architecture. Every building we passed & street we crossed brought us to another gorgeous photo op!
