The weekend before last, I had the fun opportunity of visiting Le Jolie Medi Spa in Studio City for a relaxing spa day! The spa itself is beautiful with its bright white, gorgeous decor and they offer an amazing array of services including massages, facials, peels, body wraps, makeup & hair styling, waxing, laser hair removal, eyelash extensions, acupuncture, chiropractic, colonics, injectable treatments and an oxygen bar! There’s even more so make sure you check them out if you’re in the area By the way, they also offer free valet!

I came by with Chris for a couples massage and then followed it up with a body wrap for myself. The staff is super nice, especially the owner, Sharona, who did my massage & body wrap. They are very accommodating and helpful, answering all the questions I had (it was my first time, ever, getting a body wrap!) I also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Rafaeloff who performs all of the medical services. She showed me some amazing tools and techniques they offer (great for those interested in injectibles or various cosmetic therapies!)

Special thanks to Le Jolie Medi Spa for having us! It was a wonderful experience and a much needed day of relaxation and pampering !

Happy Friday! This is the second installment of my Fitness Fashion Series! Golf was actually what started my idea for this series. My husband’s a big golfer and I actually played a bit in grade school (the private school I went to was the same one Phil Mickelson attended!) I recently got back into the game and was googling for cute golf outfits and ideas when I realized I was having a helluva hard time finding any I wanted to wear something sporty & cute but that still abided by some of the course rules (although this varies widely depending on what course you’re at, whether it’s municipal, public or private etc.) I prefer the idea of wearing a skort to keep it girly & still fashionable so this Ryka skirt is perfect! It adds a fun layered look with the attached shorts and mixes in a nice contrast with the matching pullover that just so happens to coordinate perfectly with my new golf shoes! I also love that everything has a clean black neutral base which makes it easier to style with other color combos, too!

The charity I chose is The Farley Project, an amazing organization who’s mission is to change the bullying conversation, spreading the message to choose kindness, instead.

As someone who was bullied growing up, this hits close to home. The most difficult period of my life was 4th grade through middle school, constantly isolated, made fun of and left out, as well as my sophomore year of high school, where I was tormented by classmates spreading painful nasty false rumors about me. I managed to percevere but it wasn’t easy and still haunts me to this day. If social media was as prevalent then as it is now, I’m not sure how things would have turned out for me which is one of the many reasons why I truly appreciate and can relate to what The Farley Project is doing and hold their mission close to my heart.
