Our last day at NYFW, I decided to wear this gorgeous Blaque Label skirt with this new TopShop Peplum Top I bought while shopping in Soho with Sheryl earlier in the week. I had to wear the spiked belt (previously worn here) to add a little bit of edge to an otherwise girly, and super frilly, look 🙂 . My pumps might look familiar if you followed me on Instagram from a while back. I fell in love with them when my Mom was showing me her latest shopping finds but couldn’t find them anywhere! Well, luckily for me, and thankfully for a super nice Macy‘s sales associate, they found a random single pair left in my size – it took all of a nanosecond for me to whip out my debit card and order them.
I always feel handicapped when it comes to outfit photos whenever my husband isn’t able to go with me places – it was so nice to have a great friend with me to take some 😛 even better when the friend is also an awesome blogger! So, special thanks to my girl Sheryl from WalkInWonderland.com for taking all my NYFW outfit pictures!

Herve Leger – hands down, my absolute favorite show & overall experience from NYFW! It has a special place in my heart because my Mom is a HUGE Herve Leger fan (in hindsight, I totally should have borrowed one of her signature bandage dresses or Herve Leger shoes! I’ll have to keep that in mind for next season 😉 ) So, having backstage access in addition to epic seats was just so amazing! Plus being in the midst of all the hussle and bussle going on minutes before the show was such a thrill.

The collar on this blouse is seriously perfect. If you skim through my blog, I know it’s pretty obvious that I have a weakness for anything studded 😉 but I love that these are round studs and just enough of them to be a statement without overwhelming the look. Special thanks to SwayChic for sending it to me; I received tons of compliments throughout the day plus when I told them it’s barely thirty bucks, the reactions were priceless! I love a great staple blouse like this – it’s sleeveless and ideal for summer but works perfectly for layering during Fall/Winter 🙂 .
I know I’m backtracking a little here with this post but my camera wasn’t cooperating this day. Sheryl (WalkInWonderland.com) took these photos of me with her camera instead so it took me a little while to get them from her and figure out how to work with RAW images. I do love how much crisper the photos turn out – so much so that I just switched the settings on my camera to shoot in RAW, too.
