Happy Monday, everyone! We came back from our Puerto Rican vacation to sweater weather here in LA! The weather is finally cool enough for us to drop the Summer gear and start layering up on Fall favorites. I’m so excited to rock sweater dresses and boots every day! What are your favorite Fall clothing items?

With October coming to a close, I wanted to share an outfit featuring a couple of my favorite Breast Cancer Awareness items! I’m wearing this gorgeous exclusive custom embroidered tee designed by Tadashi Shoji to help raise awareness for the fight against Breast Cancer in partnership with the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation. This gorgeous top features a Japanese inspired peony motif which happens to be one of my favorite flowers! I’m also carrying this darling ballerina pink satchel by Ora Delphine – for the month of October 50% of proceeds from all full price purchases of the Harlowe Satchel in Ballet Slipper Pink will be donated towards the breast cancer awareness cause!
If you’re anything like me and have been plagued with under eye creasing & raccoon smudging, learning the baking or cooking technique can be a game changer! I have spent countless hours and lots of money in the past trying various eyeliner pencils and mascaras that claimed to be smudge-proof, only to be left with ugly (sometimes even creepy) raccoon eyes a few hours later. I think it has a lot to do with my eye shape and the fact that I smile a lot 🙂 but no matter what I did before, I’d always have eyeliner or mascara smudged on the lower inner and outer corners under my eyes… sometimes the entire under eye area! After I first tried this technique, I realized I was blaming the wrong products! I use this trick daily now – I can wear almost any brand mascara or eyeliner and my under eye area stays looking flawless all day! Follow along below for my step by step tutorial!
Then I apply bareMinerals bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer in a slightly smaller, similar triangle shape over the same area, also blending it out with the flat end of my Real Technique’s sponge. I love how creamy and silky this concealer is while still offering great coverage and making it blend in beautifully
Now it’s time to BAKE! Pack on this powder underneath the eyes in the same areas we applied the corrector & concealer – don’t be shy! Get a nice dense layer of powder packed on. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes; I usually apply other products like my bronzer and contour while it’s “cooking”.
Now using a fluffy brush like this Japonesque Fluff Concealer Brush, lightly dust away all the powder we were “baking” with underneath the eyes. Make sure there’s no leftover loose powder sitting on top anywhere. You should be left with a matte finish!

LA weather has been so finicky lately, teasing us with occasional temperature drops only to be met with scorching 100°F the following day. This was one of those days which is why I love wearing ponchos like this one by Morning Lavender. It started to warm up in the afternoon so I was able to easily transition to the tank I was wearing underneath and of course, put the poncho back on when it cooled off in the evenings. I loved pairing it with my Hudson flared jeans that I (FINALLY) got hemmed recently, because it made for a chic laid back look. Not to mention, they make me look crazy tall!
What are your favorite looks to wear when the weather is unpredictable?
