Happy Friday, everyone! I’ve partnered up with BCBGeneration to share a Fall/Winter Outwear look! It’s a stunning heavy wool blend coat with a flattering fit & flare silhouette, perfect for layering over a dress or with a comfy pair of jeans & boots. You can use the belt with the buckle for a sleek sophisticated feel or knot it like I did here to give it a slightly casual vibe. I also love tying it in the back as well to hide the belt and add volume to the flare! I can definitely see layering it over winter whites or a fun Fall plaid. This coat is such a head turner!

It’s about time, amiright?! 😉 I’ve been promising a makeup video since 2010 – so thank you guys so much for your patience lol! It’s something I’ve been wanting to do but procrastinating on because Youtube and makeup videos are like a whole different animal from what I’m used to. With that being said, I’m so happy to FINALLY share this video with you all! It definitely took a lot of work (blood sweat & tears!!) but I’ve already learned so much and am definitely looking forward to creating more videos like it. The Trench Dress

Chicwish has yet to disappoint. I mean, how cute is this dress?! I’m tempted to get it in black, too. 🙂 It’s actually not really a dress but fits like one. I did use an extra safety pin under the lapel so it wouldn’t be too revealing, but could have easily worn it like this without the pin. It’s such a great classic piece and so versatile (since it is supposed to be a coat after all!) it could be worn year round: layered in the winter, paired with cute pumps in the Spring or even for summer nights – think strappy sandals with a clutch for a night out, yes!! Of course I had to pair it with over the knee boots because you guys know by now that I live in them all Fall/Winter but I wanted to brighten up the look with my pink bag and my new geometric jewelry from Capwell Co! I love the mix of hematite & gold jewelry – it adds such an edgy chic vibe to the look!

Our weather cooled down last weekend and I took advantage of it every bit I could! I actually bought this duster back at the beginning of August (and in all 3 colors lol) but they had been hanging in our coat closet ever since so I was elated to get a chance to wear this one… So excited that I forgot to cut the vent stitch in the back #howembarassing! That’s one of my biggest pet peeves too! Luckily for me, this duster is so long that I don’t think anyone noticed lol at least I hope not 😉 Have you ever done something like that?

I was also super excited to wear my new backpack! I’ve been loving the backpack trend the past few seasons but I hadn’t found a style I could pull off since most of the backpack bags I’ve seen are much edgier or very laid back casual looking and I just couldn’t seem to work them into my girlier style. I tend to gravitate towards bags that are more structured, feminine and classic. When I saw this adorable Harper Ave. mini backpack, I was smitten! The patent grey color combo makes it so easy to wear year round pairing well with both darker and lighter shades. The shiny patent combined with the braided leather straps add such a sweet feminine touch. For being a “mini” size, it’s still quite roomy so it’ll be a great companion when traveling too!

Skincare Routine & Favorites

Warning: this video is extra long 😉 but it is a very a detailed look at my skincare routine. This is my first youtube video that I did all on my own and I’m SO excited to share it with you all! I actually had to cut a lot of footage out to keep the length somewhat reasonable so this was as condensed as I could get while still keeping in interesting and getting all the info across 🙂 It is definitely long and intense and although it seems time consuming to do on a daily basis (and it is!) I truly feel it’s important to pamper your skin – this is your FACE after all! I treat it like a personal spa experience that I give myself and I really take the time to enjoy it. It’s an amazing way to wind down after the long work days we have.
