I’ve been drawn to wearing earrings more often lately, especially since we’ve been wearing masks regularly for a while now. A nice pair of earrings can really pull together a chic look, and add visual interest! Although I love cute dangly statement earrings, they can be a bit cumbersome when you have to put on and take off your mask throughout the day, so I’ve been reaching for more stud and huggie earrings, like this gold bar pair I have on. There’s something so luxe about the simple dainty design that I absolutely love!

Speaking of earrings, can you believe I used to have 9 piercings total?! You can still see some of the faint scars from them in these photos here. I know that’s not an extraordinary amount, but my friends are always surprised when I share that about them myself. I definitely went through a phase during my teens; it’s been almost twenty years so I’m sure the others are mostly all closed up by now. I love the look of multiple ear piercings but I’m not sure I could still handle the pain of getting a new one anymore, even if it is really quick. I’ve always especially liked the look of an industrial piercing, though. 😉 Hmmm.. maybe some day!

I’ve also been wearing these adorable bow scrunchies from Sydne Summer, almost every day! They are so much more fun than your standard hair tie. I love that I can dress them up with a pretty blouse like I’m wearing here, or dress them down in my loungewear at home.

Fashion accessory trends are so funny, aren’t they? A few years ago, I wouldn’t even think to wear a scrunchie, and now here I am, wearing them almost daily! I do appreciate that scrunchies are less damaging to our hair, especially since I just had mine done. More on that in a later post 😉
