Triple Graces

Chris spotted this perfect location to shoot my look recently while driving around our neighborhood. I absolutely love the Arabic architecture of this restaurant! The blues and golds made for the perfect backdrop with my outfit, making the pops of red even more vibrant. This look would be great for a picnic at the park, garden tea party, Sunday Mass, bridal/baby shower or you know, brunch because that’s all I seem to ever dress for 😉 haha!

Bougainvillea

My parents recently sold the house I grew up in and although it was definitely time (obviously I moved out a long time ago and my parents had also long since moved into another investment property they had) I couldn’t help but feel nostalgic when Chris and I came upon this gorgeous hidden wall of stunning bougainvilleas in a random alley here in LA. We had lived in that old house from when I was barely 5 years old and well into college. During my life there, our entire backyard was covered in these incredible vines, that lead into an enormous canyon and even wrapped around to our front yard. I remember when we first moved in, like myself, my Mom was (and still is) a photography enthusiast and we’d take daily photos posing around these beautiful leaves. Of course, as time passed, they began to feel more and more normal, blending into the background of our lives. Yet seeing them again transported me to the past and reminded me to never take things like this for granted. Even though I’m sure we took enough photos when I did live there, part of me wishes we took a few more.

Don’t forget to stop and smell the bougainvillea 🙂

Loving this chic white on white tweed look from Eve by Eve’s! The brand is famous overseas with dozens of stores across Asia and recently opened a lifestyle store here in Beverly Hills; their new US Flagship is absolutely breath taking from floor to ceiling! I had the opportunity of visiting a few weeks ago and picked this stunning ensemble that I’ll be living in all Summer. I paired this gorgeous outfit with an edgy necklace by my friend Isaiah Garza. The python piece is from his newest FW15 collection – I love its edgy, innovative design and the python padlock pendant is a head turner! It’s been in heavy rotation for me since I got it and I haven’t worn it once without receiving a compliment! My snake print sandals were a no brainer and I completed the look with my favorite Chanel pieces along with a bold, dark berry lip by Marc Jacobs Beauty. I wore this outfit to brunch with the Mister but can definitely see myself wearing it to a garden tea party, at a Country Club, party in the Hamptons, or an event like the VC Polo Classic (sans heels)!

Happy Friday, everyone! Short holiday weeks are always strange (I guess it doesn’t help that Mercury is also in retrograde) but I sure am happy it’s Friday! I thought it would be the perfect time to share a comfy casual look I recently wore – you know I love my casual Fridays! There’s also no secret that I love my ~~hot~~ haute pinks 😉 so wearing this gorgeous cashmere sweater from White+Warren for one of our cooler days last week was ideal. Since we ended up doing more walking than I anticipated, I switched into my adorable foldable Tieks flats that I always keep handy in the car. The fun bright colors in their electric snake print blend perfectly with my wardrobe, matching my Gucci tote and the turquoise face of my new Jord wood watch perfectly!
