POPSUGAR Summer Soiree with Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue

We partied it up this past weekend with POPSUGAR and Dolce&Gabbana celebrating Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue! Despite the rain, everyone still had a blast. How could we not when the pool party is at the gorgeous Doheny Estates? The venue and ambiance were so incredibly breathtaking that it felt like we were transported to the Mediterranean – fitting seeing as the Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue collection is a tribute to the scorching sun, sea and sensuality of the Mediterranean. We also got to enjoy this year’s beautiful Light Blue Limited Editions like Sunset in Salina, which is a light floral scent, reminiscent of sweet wines and notes of jasmine. The entire collection, including the Limited Edition scents, is available at Sephora. I enjoyed them so much, I’ve been alternating between dousing myself in the classic Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue and Sunset in Salina every day since!

It’s pretty much known in the blogger world that if you see someone wearing a gorgeous printed midi skirt… chances are, it’s from CHICWISH. Of course when they reached out to me, I had to pick one of these stunners and wow, was it a hard decision to make! They also carry other separates and beautiful dresses and but their midi-skirts really are EVERYTHING! Naturally, I went for a PINK floral print and I was not dissappointed – it was STUNNING in real life! I wanted to let the skirt stand out so I styled it with neutral, solid color pieces like this tie-front top and my comfy tan Ugg wedges. The pink was too good not to accentuate so I carried my beloved Hermes bag. I added subtle touches bling like a dainty My Jewel Bar anklet and pretty layered pieces from Bling Jewelry. The only pattern I mixed into my look were these tortoiseshell print Vint & York sunglasses that have quickly become by go-to closet staples.
