Pants are the one clothing item I’m always hesitant about ordering online or purchasing without trying on. I blame it on my genes 😛 I always seem to have issues with the waist having that dreaded gap in the back or leg opening being too narrow for me to squeeze into. Size seems to mean nothing because I can wear anything within 3 sizes of what one would consider my “size”. So when, after my mini private tour post, Buffalo Jeans reached out to me asking what size I wore, I was a pretty worried. What was I going to do if they sent these fabulous Felow Skinny Jeans, only to find I couldn’t fit into them or they were too big? Well, rest assured, when these babies arrived, they fit PERFECTLY! Just enough stretch to hug my curves comfortably and no gap in the back. Not to mention, I love the hardware details and back pockets! It was love at first sight.
So what’s even better than Buffalo sending me an amazing pair of jeans? They’d like to give a pair of Buffalo skinny jeans to one of you lucky readers, too! It could be you 😉 Just 4 simple steps! All you have to do is…

One of the must visit spots in NYC for us was the original Saks Fifth Avenue. I was expecting beauty but I did not expect such an amazing shoe department – or almost entire top floor, really. It was incredible. Easily hundreds of gorgeous shoes on display. This combined with my self-control issues only resulted in me, pacing back and forth sending my husband puppy dog eyes over… oh, just about every shoe I picked up. Now, some of you may be disappointed while others, proud of me, but I managed to leave without emptying my bank account. There was just too much to do in New York for me to justify spending at the very least, nine hundred dollars on a pair of platforms. Plus, the pair I was swooning over (below) is available online so I can think a little more rationally about them and whether I really need them.
I did, however, blow a whole lot of cash at their exclusive Charbonnel et Walker location on the famous Pink Marc de Champagne Truffles. Those and their brownies – heaven.

Towards the beginning of our trip, I was pretty gutsy with my heels. This lasted… oh, a good two days of wearing them before I gave up, wore my hunter boots the remainder of our trip and even caved towards the end and finally jumped on the Toms bandwagon. I have nothing against Toms, by the way. I think their story and cause is great. I’m just not one to wear flats very often. They, along with my Hunter boots, really saved my feet on this trip lol.
Halfway through the day, my legs weren’t having the OTK books and I switched over to my always comfortable, Jessica Simpson Dany’s.

Our first night in NYC, we were given an extra special treat. My good friend works for Buffalo David Bitton in their corporate offices and showroom at Times Square and gave us a mini private tour. It took a lot of self control for me not to take everything back to LA 😛 My wish list is definitely getting lengthier. There was a gorgeous faux fur coat and adorable fringe bag calling my name 😀
