Winter pastels make my heart smile.

I thought I wouldn’t be able to wear this pale pink linen blazer again until next Spring/Summer but seeing it sit there collecting dust in my closet made me sad (though, that’s nothing new for anything in my closet really lol – wait your turn!). Linen in winter? Fashion faux pas? Meh, nothing some faux fur and leg warmers can’t fix. Though, I’m sure Southern California “winter” weather has something to do with the ability to wear it. Who am I to complain? :p

I adore this button-up shirt (mentioned here) that I grabbed at Urban Outfitters last week. I wore it with a dainty little Forever 21 feather necklace that was only a dollar fifty! Such a fun, cheap find. I love how it barely peaks out under the collar but adds such a fun detail. It was slightly chilly out so I layered knee-high socks over tights (yes, I’m wearing sheer tights lol my legs aren’t that dull/ashy!) with my black suede Pauline’s (also worn here).

By the way – I’m perfectly aware that I look like a deer staring in headlights in this last photo there were better looking shots but this one showed off the back of the blouse untucked the best. <3

Another awesome Christmas gift my brother got me this Zara bag and I absolutely adore its shade of teal. It adds a fun pop of color to my outfits without being obnoxiously loud (at least not to me!) and I already know it will transition perfectly into Spring and Summer.

My Mom got me this skirt for Christmas and I am so in love with it! I’ve had a (faux) leather pleated skirt on my list of things my closet needs despite its lack of space for months now and somehow, my Mommy dearest magically read my mind. Unintentional telepathy? I don’t think I ever even mentioned it to her! The color is so gorgeous in person and somehow (almost) goes with everything in my closet. Leather automatically feels sexy but the pretty pleats and school girl shape calms it down perfectly. I love that it brings out the colors in my clutch (also worn here and seen here) without obviously matching it.
