What is it about Lita that makes us so happy? I put them on and immediately start prancing around our apartment – I love them. I can wear them with anything, even if it doesn’t “go” because that’s what’s so magical about them… They go with everything! I was visiting my parents the other weekend and decided to wear my Lita’s with this adorable Forever21 Boutique romper. My usual routine is going straight for my Mom’s closet when getting ready and it never fails me. I found this sweet faux fur clutch to pair with my look and borrowed her new Skagen watch. I’ve had a white watch on my list of wants for years now but haven’t found one I love enough to fork over the funds for. Her is perfect – beautiful white ceramic, light but still boyfriend watch’ish. Luckily for me, my Mom and I share accessories all the time so now I don’t have to go get one 😉 lol

On a hunt for a our favorite little macarons, we had brunch as this sweet little bakery cafe. The food and desserts were delicious but unfortunately, they don’t make macarons anymore. Bummer!!

When I first saw these Jeffrey Campbell Alexa’s, I didn’t really look twice… but for some reason, they stayed on my mind. They remind me of the shoes I wore in elementary school but with a Spice Girl twist. When I went back online te to buy them, they were nearly sold out. The only size left was mine 🙂 meant to be? I think so. Even more exciting was when I went back to the link after check-out to see that they were completely sold out. I got the very. last. pair. YAY!!

Since moving to LA, my husband and I have made it an effort to be the ultimate tourists. We purchased tons of LA travel books and have been making our way through various locales every weekend. Since we were visiting 2 of the MOCAs in LA, one of which was in Little Tokyo, it was only fitting that I wore my favorite popKiller find. This I heart LA tank that I found in the Japanese boutique a few weeks prior.

We visited the MOCA near the Walt Disney Music Hall downtown and got to see some “classic” modern art by Jackson Pollock (photo below) and Andy Warhol (which wasn’t allowed to be photographed) but my favorite part? Lemonade at MOCA. This adorable little cafe that happened to have my beloved macarons but on steroids. So yummy. Afterwards, we took the free shuttle over to MOCA in Little Tokyo where they were featuring Art In The Streets at the time – definitely bringing back fond highschool hip-hop memories for both of us. Plus, a Louis bag was even featured there 🙂 that made my designer obsessed heart smile.

Please excuse my hair – this was a failed attempt at “scrunching” it. I think I need to accept the fact that my bone straight Asian hair refuses to be scrunched. I can definitely curl it (using a ceramic flat iron or steam rollers) but cute beachy scrunched hair? Nope. Not gonna happen despite the countless youtube tutorials I tried mimicking lol…

ShoeDazzle amazes me yet again. These Nattie’s are insanely comfortable – I wish I’d gotten them in both colors.

BTW this is another amazing Jeffrey Lazaro handmade leather creation 🙂 I absolutely adore how worn and distressed this bag is. Plus, you’ll see a shot below that was just the icing on the cake. A clutch you can hang on a bathroom stall!!! Woohoo for its unintentional convenience ;p

I’d been wanting to blog these shoes since I got them (when I got the grey Dany’s back in March) but never got around to it until now… either I didn’t have time to take photos of the outfit I wore them with or it just wasn’t a blog worthy day… Anyway, better late than never 🙂 and I still love them just as much. In fact, I really wish I’d bought them in black as well (or maybe the Jeffrey Campbell Foxy’s – extremely similar). C’est la vie… Maybe I’ll run into them again someday. OR Maybe the folks at Jessica Simpson Shoes can take the hint and restock?! 😀 lol
