Maybe, I’m the only one that notices or maybe I really do have a [slight] shopping problem. I’ve mentioned it before but I have this habit of buying whatever item I like in every color it comes in. On the surface, it doesn’t sound so bad, right? But I do this with everything- jeans, tops, outerwear, skirts, shoes, bags, accessories… and maybe, it gets a little repetative. Case in point, this poncho. I bought it in grey, creme and navy. Another example? My Steve Madden Raven boots; I bought them in both the taupe and black patent leather. In fact, they also came in glittery versions and I would have bought those too if they had them in my size. If I don’t buy it in every color it comes in, I’ll kick myself later for not. Those Seychelle wedges I’m wearing here? They also came in black and cranberry and I still think about them and wonder why I didn’t buy those colors too. They’re comfy and perfect for work or out to brunch but unfortunately, they’re no longer available (as far as I know). Even more frustrating is when an item I like is available in similar shades, say charcoal, black and navy. I’ll end up at the store for as long as I can debating on which color to buy and whether or not to buy them all. Sure, I’ll know they’re different but if I were to wear them three days in a row (which I’d never but just hypothetically of course) others would think I was wearing the same thing since the colors are close.
So what do you think? Is it an issue I need to address or just a personality quirk?
Xox,
