I’ve always heard amazing things about Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser, so when I found out that it’ll be on sale for only $15 on September 6th (reg $24) I knew I had to give it a try. I absolutely love how well it lathered up, removing all my makeup and thoroughly cleansing my skin, leaving my face perfectly clean while still feeling soft and hydrated! Now that I think about it, it’ll be such a great price, I might as well get another one to keep in the shower!
Anastasia Beverly Hills has quickly become by eyebrow holy grail, taking over my entire brow routine! I’m a dramatic eye addict and Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara is perfect for days when I want to let my lashes take some (much needed) time off from being weighed down with falsies. If you follow me on Instagram or SnapChat (@HautePinkPretty) you may have seen that I had the awesome opportunity of attending the VMA’s last night (with my girl Sydne Summer!), thanks to the incredible COVERGIRL team! I was so excited when I got the invite that I immediately started brainstorming for outfit ideas. Anything goes when it comes to the VMAs but I knew I wanted to wear something edgy but girly. I decided on this flirty lace skater dress from bebe and paired it with my fun furry bow sandals. You might have also seen that I went on quite the intense search for my new bag the day before 🙂 hunting it down and splurging on this gorgeous Chanel Chevron flap. Naturally, I wanted an excuse to wear it so I layered on the silver bling with my statement jewelry and Deepa Gurnani headband. Finally, I went with a vampy lip for an extra edgy finish!

How cute is this dress by Camilyn Beth? I absolutely adore the elegant silhouette and the bow detail on the back was just icing on the cake! I love that the classic Americana inspired colors are subtle enough to wear this dress year round but so perfectly fitting for the 4th of July, Memorial day or our upcoming Labor Day weekend! I kicked the look up a notch by pairing it with coordinating patriotic accessories like this blue & red watch and my adorable american flag bow barrette that I clipped on my bag (I just removed the tension bar on the inside!). We’ve been rewatching Mad Men lately and when I put this look together, Chris immediately mentioned that I looked like I walked right off the TV screen! So very 60s indeed!
