Hey everyone!! I’m super excited to kick off this Monday with my 3rd and final video collaboration for Chevy Cruze! I had a ton of fun sharing my favorite street style trends and tips on looking #ChevyChic. In this clip, I combined all 3 of my key street style elements including a killer pair of caged heels, a bold blazer draped over the shoulder and a fabulous pair of statement sunglasses! Of course you don’t have to rock all of them together like I did – incorporating them separately comes off just as chic 😉 I hope you guys liked this video and the mini-series as much as I enjoyed filming them!

Happy Friday!!! Kicking off the weekend with this extra fun & colorful shoot 😀 I wore this look last weekend while out and about running errands with my husband. I love how soft and airy the fabric of this dress is, making it perfect for the Summer heat we’ve been having. I paired it with accessories accentuating the bright teals & turquoise in the print and offset the bold colors with my chestnut brown gladiator sandals. Hope you guys like this weekend casual outfit!
I’ve been searching for the perfect white crochet shift dress for almost ten years now. Wow – does that sound melodramatic or what? No really though guys… I still remember the moment. It was 2006 and I was walking out of the Nordstrom at Fashion Valley in San Diego. As I walked out towards the mall, a girl with her hair up in a ponytail walks into the Nordstrom eBar and she was wearing a super cute white crochet shift dress with flats. I had that immediate overhwhelming feeling of OMG I NEED THAT DRESS. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m usually the first to stop someone in their tracks or run up to a complete stranger across the street to ask them where they got that fabulous item of clothing or accessories. For some reason, that day, I just didn’t ask her and before I knew it, she disappeared into the crowded mall and I instantly regretted it. I still remember scouring the internet, pre-blog days, working my pretty awesome google skills to try to find the same one. Many orders were made (I remember Loft & Banana had a similar dresses) but none of them fit quite right and a few weeks later, I was defeated and gave up. Every time I saw a similar dress though, I’d try it but still, none of them worked… well… until this dress. I originally ordered it in a Small but it was too big and that defeated feeling returned. Luckily I was able to exchange it for an XS and it fit PERFECTLY! The right length, beautiful quality, that ideal loose enough to eat whatever I want but still slimming enough to look good fit, and the gorgeous scalloped lace detail edge. Almost a decade later and my search is finally complete.

By the way – just wanted to clarify… in case you don’t follow me on SnapChat (@HautePinkPretty) where I’ve been talking about it for weeks now lol… that nasty bruise on my arm is from a hematoma I got after getting my blood drawn during a routine physical at the doctor’s a couple weeks ago. 🙁 Unfortunately for me, my bruises stick around for what feels like ages so chances are it’s going to be around for a while. I’ve been keeping a hot compress on it in the evenings but if you guys have any other tips for bruises, let me know!
