The best and scariest times of the month are always payday. Best because obviously, you get paid. Scariest because all your various online shopping carts are filled up just waiting, staring at you, asking to be purchased! Well, for me at least đ lol. These are some of my favorites that I’m currently debating on, including the affordable goodies and some splurges. Should I complete my transactions? Should I pass? Do I have self-control not to blow all my money the day I get it? *sigh* The story of my life hahaa đ
What’s currently in your shopping carts?

My Easter outfit this weekend – so, my skirt was probably a little bit inappropriate for the occasion but it is a longer mini (if there is such a thing?) and I wore it with this looser chiffon blouse to balance it out. We went to Easter Mass early in the morning in an attempt to beat the crowds. Yeah, that didn’t work out so well. We were there thirty minutes early and stillbarelyfound seats. We spent the rest of the day with family – lunch with my in-laws and dinner with my family. Way too much food but all so delicious!
I’ve gotten a lot of questions about my nail polishes lately. If you’re connected with me on facebook, twitter or instagram (@hautepinkpretty), you probably know I got rid of my acrylic nails (which I had for 10+ years) and since my nails have been healthy enough, I’ve turned into a nail polish hoarder. I know what you’re thinking – she hoards more than nail polish, let’s not forget the shoes, accessories and clothes… but I digress… I’ve been playing around with various nail art styles and this one is a gradient glitter look. I applied the base color (on top of my base coat, of course) OPI’s I Have a Herring Problem, then did 3/4 of my nail with Essie’s Luxeffects Pure Pearlfection, 1/2 my nail with Essie’s Luxeffects Shine of the Times, and then 1/4 or just the tip of the nails with Essie’s Luxeffects Set in Stones. I love how it turned out! Definitely trying it again with Essie’s Cute as a Button next.
I made my toes match my nails and I love how it looked with my new SoleSociety Loretta’s. When I got these shoes in, I was hesitant. Strappy shoes like this, always end up being uncomfortable. My Loretta’s were far from it! Super comfy and the stitch detail is adorable. I wore them all day on Easter and my feet were as happy as can be. I’m tempted to get the other colors it comes in, too…

So… I bought a HELLUVA lot of stuff lately =/ lol but most of this post is late and from over the past 3-4 weeks instead of 2. For example, the white Zara blouse and Glint & Gleam spike ring I wore in the last post. Actually, all of the Zara stuff is older, though I think it’s all still available. At least, as of this very minute đ they’re available but stuff on there sells out so fast! The Glint & Gleam goodies via ShopLately are from two seperate purchases; I first ordered the ring and body [harness] necklaces and once I got them in the mail, I’ve been hooked! They have daily sales on certain products in addition to their normal store shelves and everything is so cute! Plus, April is my birth month đ so anything else I buy this month is all okay, right? Because – it’ll be my Birthday and I can cry buy if I want to đ LOL

A huge TV in a random empty studio lot, that is. đ One of our best friends recently posted a picture at the giant TV setup like a late night talk show on instagram, and I was smitten – determined to find this little gem for fun blog post! So yesterday, we drove around Hollywood trying to find it and then had to convince the security guard to let us take pictures… we were finally able to get these shots in (and were only given 5 minutes to take them lol).
Afterwards, we had brunch at a cute little restaurant nearby called Grub. It’s set in what seems like a repurposed small house with a shabby chic, cottage meets Hollywood feel. The food? Delicious. When you’re seated, they give every table a bowl of cute kids cereal to munch on (like other restaurants would do with bread & butter). We had their blueberry lemonade which was nice and refreshing. Eggs, Country Potatoes, and Crack Bacon – a perfect combination of sticky sweet and salty, extra crispy bacon seasoned with light herbs. The star of the show was their Our Friggin’ Amazing French Toast made with cinnamon vanilla battered croissants covered with pecans and a nice scoop of their raspberry butter. I didn’t finish everything I ordered but now I wish I’d taken the leftovers home – so good!!
Later on, it got even windier so I switched into jeans and boots and we headed to the Melrose Trading Post flea market. We continued to walk off those calories and did even more damage at Fred Segal and Marc Jacob.  Those will be in my upcoming haul post đ which I’m, as always, behind on. Actually, this blouse I’m wearing is part of that post, too, which I bought a good three weeks ago lol!
Thank you so much for visiting & reading my blog! đ
