It’s Fri-YAY!!! This dress sums up exactly how Fridays make me feel 😀 … okay who am I kidding, you guys know I’d be head over heels for this look any day of the week! So very pink & so very cuteeeee! Happy weekend, everyone!
I partnered with Pixi & InStyle to create these essential beauty looks! I love that these two videos can easily take you from day to night with a dewy look during the day and a smokey eye at night. I used all Pixi products that include some of my favorites you may have noticed in my previous beauty stories, too! Check it out and see more at pixi.instyle.com!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today I’m sharing my favorite powder highlights. Now, this was not an easy feat – my highlighter collection is pretty darn ridiculous but I decided to log all the highlights I found myself reaching for on a regular basis to make this list. Follow along below for details about each and what makes them so amazing!
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette The Ambient Lighting powders are famous for giving off a natural glow from within – think dreamy, angelic, bridal radiance. I love using a combination of all three shades for light makeup days when I want to look like I woke up like this, when we all know I really didn’t. The two lighter shades are gorgeous overtop blushes and lightly dusted under the eye areas while the deeper shade on the right is beautiful for a subtle sun kissed bronzer glow.
Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Powder in Candlelight The Celestial Powder by Kevyn Aucoin has a similar subtle luminosity however I love how creamy this formula is – it’s lightweight and silky like cashmere making it a great option for more mature skin. I love the gorgeous radiating sheen it leaves and how build-able it is! This powder looks incredible layered over a cream highlight and gives you that breathtaking fresh faced ethereal glow.
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Highlighter in Exposed Tarte’s exposed highlighter is one of the newest additions to my collection and wow, does this little cutie pack a punch! This illuminator is a light champagne shade with some serious layering abilities. It looks amazing on the cheekbones or on the eyes as an inner corner highlight and it’s also vegan-friendly!
Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator Laura Geller’s Gilded Honey is a favorite among the professionals and true to it’s namesake, it gilds everything it touches with a breathtaking gold sheen. I recently added the shades Charming Pink and Peach Glow to my collection and like its infamous sister, both shades are absolutely gorgeous. The different hues are subtle enough to layer without overpowering your look and lasts all day!
BECCA Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop It goes without saying that this is a cult favorite. Having sold out within minutes of launching, and selling out again on multiple occasions thereafter, it was a limited edition product that’s been added to their permanent collection (and expanded upon!) Champagne Pop is a warm, champagne shade that works well on all complexions (though I wouldn’t recommend it for paler skin tones – for those, the shade Pearl would be perfect). To be honest, it’s just a no-brainer 😉 when I’m in a rush but going for a glam look, I dust on Champagne Pop and can already expect a compliment (or 5) on that glow!
Happy Monday, everyone! If you’re friends with me on Snapchat or watched my Instagram Story, you probably recognize this outfit from yesterday’s shenanigans lol 🙂 I actually first wore this cape blazer in Vegas the other week but I styled it completely different. I wore it with a black mini skirt, gladiator heels and beachy waves for a sexy date night look. I love how unexpectedly versatile it is! I can see myself pairing it with shorts and loafers for a casual chic look or even a maxi or trousers for some fierce business/office style! What would you wear it with?
I spent months hunting these shoes down and then I took months to finally wear them – c’est la vie! For anyone else buying this specific style, they do run an entire whole size larger. I’m normally a 6.5/7 and I got these in size 6 and they’re huge. I really wish I’d sized down to a 5.5 but four padded shoe inserts later, I got them to work 😉 lol all for the love of fashion, amiright?
